Hello all...
I just built a new SCCM 2007 Secondary site to replace a primary site we had. Basically there was no reason for the other site to be a primary so secondary was the best option. Anyway, the site installed correctly, packages have been replicated
and the only thing I have left to do is reassign the clients. I removed the boundaries from the the old primary (AD Site) and added the boundary to the new secondary. I connected to a machine that no one is using with client center and tried to
assign that client to the new site. Here is what I'm getting in the ClientLocation.log
"Unable to verify the sitecode 'AST', AD schema is not extended or SLP is not present. Cannot continue site assignment."
The problem is, AD schema is extended and there are 4 other secondaries reporting to AST that have no issue assigning clients to that site. For good measure, I checked AD to make sure the objects were still there and everything looks good. I'm at a loss as to why I'm getting this message. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
