Dear Brothers,
I came across to a repeated error "Failed to sync update ..... Error: License agreement not ready. This is a transient state while WSUS is downloading..." I reviewed most of the post in the forum, I checked for the "Network Services" and also "Accepting the Licenses for the updates" it is still providing me with the same error. Please see below "Wsyncmgr.log".
Updated Information scenario:
1.) SCCM Primary Site "Server1" on Windows 2003 Enterprise Ed, SP2
2.) Enterprise WSUS Server "WSUS-DEMO"SUP on Windows 2008 R2 Updated all current Patch
Few days ago the Updates Patching and the Reporting is working perfectly, suddenly the remote WSUS-DEMO Server encounter errors in Windows 2008 R2 OS which I need to resolved first. The error is the Server Manager which the Roles are not Showing with a refresh error, and with few guides from the forums I resolved it.
After that when I came back to my SCCM Console on I tried Syncronizing to my SUP (WSUS-DEMO) server and it gives me Sycn failed error. Ive been in this scenario before twice I tried to follow my steps before and also the steps in the forum and resolved it before, now I spend time looking into my current issue and end up isolated that somehow the WSUS was corrupted.
I perform reinstallation of my WSUS however I did not backup my WSUS database which I believed this will not a big issue since it will be filled up by the Data from SCCM Database and also with Microsoft Updates.
After the reinstallation another repeated issue came Failed to sync update ..... Error: License agreement not ready. This is a transient state while WSUS is downloading..." for more that 1 hundred updates. There are some updates succesfully sync however the "Wsyncmgr.log" end ups "sync failed.
